Hi, I have a 1993 GS300 and just found out that I need a new arm controll. We already replaced the lower arm and the wheel bearing on both sides but now the right side still has that noise and I called dealer to find out that the arm is 510.00 does anyone know where I can get it at a better price. I live in northern New Jersey and could really use some help here. thanks a bunch for your assistance.

I have a spare lower control arm set for the passenger side. Ebay is probably your best bet right now. I'm looking for a set of Upper Control arms myself. Those are crazy expensive.

There are 2 lower control arms and the upper. I paid $330 a piece for the uppers and $120IIRC for the lower #2 arm. I used Carson Toyota.

What kind of noise you getting from the front? does it sound like grinding? Does the sound only occur when you go over a bump? can you grab the front well and pull up and down on the car and the noise becomes noticeable? While car is parked on level ground and shut off, when you rock the car front to back can you hear the noise but can't pin point it? Last, when you jack up the car and put a jack stand under it then take your jack and place it under your tire and jack up the tire can you get the sound to come up? if its any of this, its your front ball joints.

tip, get factory ones avoid aftermarkets they don't last. its easy to replace. you will need a special tool to press/pop it out.
