I didn’t mess with swapping the internals as I was suspicious the internals would not fit into the USDM pumpkin
The JDM ARISTO complete pumpkin will bolt up to the USDM Axel. The ARISTO/JDM axels are shorter than the USDM axels. This was a surprise.
I measured the rear cross member, various suspension components, the rear sway bar etc... and all matched the USDM. So now I’m thinking if it may be possible the complete rear assembly I have may be from a JDM Supra or JDM Soarer. I just don’t know how this is so as I have no way of cross referencing JDM and USDM part numbers here in the Americas.
I mentioned this to others locally and many are miffed. I'm actually taking the axels with me and other suspension parts from the JDM assemble to the performance shop to see if it matches either a SUPRA or SC300/400 rear end and components.
As for Nissan and JSZ147 mixing I would have no clue about this. I’m sure if you google search hard enough you may find some a write up on Supras performing this integration of Toyota and Nissan parts.

Naw I wasn't talking about crossbreeding toyota and Nissan. I was using that as an example about Torsen's requiring a different axle. Great. So I won't know how to handle this till I tear it apart it sounds like. Nothing like the smell of gear oil.
