JZX147 2jzgte swap
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, not new to cars. I'm trying to transition from DSM's to Toyota. My DSM was fully built, with a standalone, T67 turbo and the whole nine, barley streetable, and I'm looking for a change. I'm trying to find a decent priced 1st gen GS300, and plan on doing a Aristo swap. I've done lots of research on the swap, and from what I can tell, the swap is pretty straight-forward. The only things that I see are major problems is lengthening the JDM harness (4 feet I think, I'm not sure) and clearence with the rear turbo against the firewall. How do you guys with the swap deal with that clearence issue? I've seen pictures on a german site, but can anyone show pics of your swap process? Sorry for all the questions, but I want to do this car right!

Yeah, i was reading the link above, and it looks like the harness needs to be lengthened 4 feet. That shouldn't be too hard. I did find another good site with really good pix, but its in german (http://www.dbmengineering.nl/dbm/projects/) Can anyone translate the page? As for my DSM, thge turbo is going to stay right were it is! I think I'll rock the stock twins on the GS for now, and upgrade later to usdm turbos.
