ahhh its been a while since ive been on the forum
but im back to makin some cash and i was wondering

an issue a while back arose with the wiring of my car speakers and headunit. i wanted to get the headunit replaced with a newer one and never got around to finding out what was needed. i heard an entire rewire is in place? btw i have a 1996, and ive been looking for dash kits and installation methods, but to no avail. any help would be great on how you had that installed and how much it cost. btw awesome looking car, i love the body kit.

thanks a lot,
lawrence

Thats a guide to putting it in. If its too hard to follow, I suggest you either have someone professional do it, or dont do it at all.
As far as a dash kit goes....here ya go

I know this may sound harsh, but you do have 120 post so you should know by now to search before asking questions, especially if your gonna clutter up someone pic thread.

i actually did search, but "wiriing diagram for 93-97 gs300" and"headunit installation for 93-97 gs300" with a dead search button isnt working for me. maybe its firefox? but the same thing happened for my internet explorer. i found the dash kit searching about 30 seconds after i posted on google but i appreciate the advice. and i also posted because ive admired the veilside kit for a while and decided to also say something in my own post complimenting on how nice the car looked. thanks for the links anyways.

all thats missing is the aristo rear lights. They are tinted black and look much better than stock imho. I just put the stock ones back on my car and now i can tell the difference. I liked the aristo ones better. Btw if anyone is interested in the full aristo rear lights, center garnish and both corners I have them for sale $150 + shipping.

not in a bad way, just stating that enough bass comes in the cabin to shake such things....

Looks great...any input on the headunit? I'm looking for one for a sideproject I have going.

FWIW, I like the mesh look on your car.

Thanks, YES, I LOVE the headunit....The ONLY negative is that it won't rip a data disc, only audio and CD-R/RW's, and if you do rip the discs individually it will put them in seperate folders....

Couldn't tell you, all my audio is done at the shop on my webpage...I would take it to one, they had to wire a relay to bypass the built in safety crap...not being able to watch a DVD while driving, and disabling of some of the Nav functions....
