Jay-Z is freakin awesome. I was jammin some of his old stuff today, I had to take my mom to get her car, which is like 45 minutes from here, I didnt listen to it with her in my car, but when she got out, I put it on.

lol, you may not want to keep posting other people lyrics in this thread, then everyone may start to realize that alot of Jay's stuff wasn't Jay's........ 
He's good, but what he's good at is talking about himself. There has never been another rapper to make a career of talking about himself more than Jay. Before everyone annoints him as the GOAT, separate his lyrics from the beats and READ them versus listening to the album. Most of the time when he's not talking about himself, he's paying 'tribute' to another artist by copying his lyrics.
As a performer, the man is a genius, I give him that.
He's good, but what he's good at is talking about himself. There has never been another rapper to make a career of talking about himself more than Jay. Before everyone annoints him as the GOAT, separate his lyrics from the beats and READ them versus listening to the album. Most of the time when he's not talking about himself, he's paying 'tribute' to another artist by copying his lyrics.
