93 gs 300 head gasket problem
93 gs300 225000km stock
looks like my head gasket is gone. Does anyone recommend an additive to the coolant such as Thermaseal which is supposed to fix the problem or is replacing the gasket the only option? Some of the additives cost roughly $100.

If your car:
1. Overheats
2. Has white smoke coming out of the tail pipe
3. You have a white milky substance in your oil
4. Has 2 cylinders low on compression right next to each other
5. You have small air bubbles in the radiator while the engine is running
6. You have a tanker wreck of oil cascading down the side of you block
You might have a blown head gasket.

Thanks for your reply. my lexus displays none of the six points you listed. Also, can't see any fluid on the drive way or leaking anywhere. So it might not be the head gasket. Then. where the hecks the coolant going? I drove it around for awhile tonight and i started to smell the sweet coolant smell. I'm wondering if it might be the heater core. Someone help. How can I find out if its the heater core or whatever else it might be?
