Default stick gs300?

ok so i know that gs300s only come in auto but why haven’t i seen any manual conversions? the gs has the same motor as a sc300 right? couldn’t you get the manual sc tranny and connect it to the the gs motor? just wondering why no one has ever tried this out before. if this is not the case what would it take to get a gs300 converted to stick? thanks for the help...

I wish I could help you more, but the only thing I can really say is to search, its been covered atleast twice. All I have to say is that if you want a car with a manual, you should probably buy one, it would be alot easier than trying to convert the GS.
Also, on a side note, the auto in the GS is pretty good, I know it may not seem like it, but it can handle alot, almost 400rwhp if you wanted it to. As long as you take it easy on it. If your not looking for something strong, and you just want a manual, you should trade for an SC300 or maybe a MKIV supra, all the same engines.

Very few have done it. dbAristo I think has a 6speed conversion. Really it's much like any auto to manual conversion. The tranny will bolt up. There are a few threads on the forums.
