Default help changing heater hose

Can anyone tell me how to get the heater hose off that goes from the water valve into the back of the engine. The clamp is impossible to undo b/c of the cramped space back there. Also, anyone know where I can get a hose cheap?

try jacking up the engine from the bottom to get more clearance of the firewall if not your gonna need a elbowed socket wrench... good luck

Thanks for the suggestion. Jacking up the engine sounds like a lot of work.

I had a professional replace mine. He replaced two of the three hoses that run to the heater control valve. I bought the parts from Steve @ Carson Toyota. They are a sponsor here.

Even with the new hoses I think it is still leaking a bit. I am going to have to have it looked at again. Glad you don't have to replace your headgasket.
