Injen SR intake or K&N drop in ?
Hey all,
Just has a quick question and needed some input or suggestions....
Well basically my question is... is the Injen intake worth the extra price as opposed to the K & N drop in filter?
Mainly performance wise and sound wise?
I know alot of you are running th Injen intake and was just looking for some reviews on it pretty much.
I mean the price difference is pretty crazy.... alomst 4x as much for the Injen.
Any input is greatly appreciated!!

I think the stock intake system are much more efficient letting the air in, especially at higher speed. Just look at how the front end of the tube were design, right at the air dam, out of the engine bay, where the hot air are. With the money I've save, I could have go to an asian massage parlor.

If you want a SR intake, just go on ebay and buy an intake for a 98-05 GS and cut it where the GS's MAF sensor would be then attach with a coupler your MAF. I think an SC guy did a write up on it, I'll try and find it for you...parts were about 50 bucks...cheaper than a K&N.
Seek and ye shall find

One more thing...If you have a 96 or 97 GS, you wont need the one part to attach to the MAF...you will just need a coupler for the MAF.
