Anyone ever replaced the OEM exhaust tips on their GS? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pull the old ones off. Anyone done this before?

Funny thing bout that pic is the emblems. i've wondered about this for a while. My Lexus emblem and the actual L emblem is in gold but the GS300 emblem is silver. Why its different colors.....beat the hell out of me! But yours are the opposite colors!

I changed my tips but it was so long ago that I can't remember if the factory tips were spot welded or what.
I remember getting a hammer and tapping the back side of the tips and they came off. You can use a rubber hammer or a regular hammer and a block of wood to keep from damaging the OEM tips. I spot welded the aftermarket tips back on so it would look better and that I wouldnt loose them. I am out of town for a couple of weeks right now if not I would post a pic.
This is easy, you will be fine.
