I searched, but wanted to confirm that the diff in the first gen USDM gs3 is a 4.08 ratio ?

Depends on what year. I just found today that years 95-97 have 4.27. Not sure about the earlier models.

as published in the JDM HyperRev vol. 69 parts catalog... this is what is written:

3.0 which is the none turbo indicate 3.769
3.0Q which is the Twin Turbo indicates 4,083
4.0Z the rare V8 uses the 4.083

In the Supra one of my JDM Catalog indicates: JDM HYPER REV VOL 4.
These wee mixed with the &MG, JZA70 and JZA80. with the 1JZGTE, & 2JZG/GTE
ECT-iS< (= auto TT<?) 3.769
6mt INDICATES 3.288
5mt INDICATES 4.083
ECT-S INDICATES 4.083

I can't find my USDM JSZ147 manual to see what the ratio is. Maybe others can chime in and provide this.

Would be nice to have a sticky posting with technical references and also JDM and USDM cross reference part numbers.

I was looking in my vol 69 too.
I just figured taht the USDM may differ ?
