Default I'm new

I just bought a 1994 lexus gs 300. Im trying to make this thing faster. What should i do that will help me but isnt that expensive cause im a college student

I'm not tryin to go 200 mph, but i really want to increase throttle response, accerleration.

Well, I don't know about the GS, but there was a guy in the SC forum that got 40 WHP from a K&N drop in filter and a S-AFC II, about $300 in parts plus tuning

That was on an SC400. I dont think an SC300 or GS300 will have the same response. You may get 20-30. Now if you mod it with an intake/exhaust/headers, then maybe 40-50rwhp. I know there is a XERD header that fits the 2JZ, and its supposed to give 17rwhp.

You do have a lexus to start off with, which means not at lot parts going to be cheap. I'm also a college student and i work when i'm in or out of school to do my ride.

Yeah, I got the Xerd Header too , but it isn't cheap
