yeah, i'm on a budget and i already have a 1jz. I think i'm going the aristo route w/ my wife's gs though. going single turbo, probably GT3076R, Ksport coilovers, emanage.... and strip out as much weight as i can.
The engine was in an 87 cressida, so i'll just have to look for my notes as to which wires go where i guess. I'm hoping the 2jz ac compressor will bolt on, i'll also have to check the schematics for cruise control operation.
anybody know who makes swaybars for 1st gen?

3076R is a bit small for a 2JZ, I looked into it. It's usually internally gated as well and I'd worry about boost creep. I did a 60-1 TO4S compressor .70 and a P trim turbine also with a .70. That was the smallest my turbo builder would let do without putting up a fight. I'll let you know how quick it gets up as soon as I get it on the dyno. Should be Saturday.

Kaiser...yes, definitely let me know how that setup feels. I'm putting a 1jz in it, so i thought the 3076R would work decently well for 2.5 liters of fury. I'll wait for your input before i make a purchase...
El Captain, i'm using the R154 5speed off a 1jz supra, it's a cable speedo... so i'll have to see if i can modify the auto speed sensor to work. I'm actually wondering how i'm going to fit the clutch master cylinder and pedal assembly in there. doesn't look like very much room... maybe a tilton setup?
