Goodbye...for now
Hey All,
Unfortunately it looks like it will be awhile yet until I become a true member of club lexus. I just closed on a '97 Maxima SE in mint condition this morning. On my college student budget the Lexus was going to be a bit steep, especially with Cali gas prices, and the whole window trim thing was a bit much for me. Plus, the Maxi's a great car, my brother has a '96 I30 putting down 380hp (at the wheels, only 9psi!), so I know there's plenty of potential. After college I might just come back to CL with a brand new IS350 (or 450 if they're out) since I'll be working full time instead of just summers. I can't wait to get to work on the Max, it's great to buy a car with your hard earned money then turn it into something awesome. Best of luck with your rides, and I'll see you all on the streets.
