How to replace A/C Expansion Valve
Has anyone ever replaced their A/C Expansion Valve on the 1st Gen GS? Or does anyone have a repair manual / disc with the step by step instructions on doing so. If so please, share.
I recently replaced my A/C compressor and dryer. But the air is not as cold as it should be right now. I had it tested at an A/C repair shop and they told me the Expansion Valve was clogged, probably due to trash in the line from the replacement of the old compressor. The part is less than $50 but they state labor will be around $350 because this valve is behind the dashboard. I'm cheap. I need to know how hard this really is, I could use that $350 on something else.
Thanks in advance.

LOL i dunno if I need the same part replaced but my A/C dosn't blow cold enough when it is really hot...is it just the way our A/C's are or is my expansion valve blocked as well? ....and yes the gas is topped up
