right now the car is in my driveway. I can start it and it will shift into gear but it may not stay that way. Living up in Northern Cal near Chico, I haven't been able to talk to anyone who is evenly remotely knowledgeable about Lexus. Everyone says to they can give me a new transmission but I don't have the thousands it will cost.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to who I might be able to contact to get any knowledgeable help?
Thanks

Hard to say:
I would check the water pump, the transmission cooler is in the radiator. Secondly, try checking the clutch fan, does it rotate normally or slowly when reving the engine.
