If anyone could help....
Yesterday I was washing my car and thought i mightr as well clean the engine.
I know alittle about cars so I covered the parts I thought might be damaged if it were to get wet! Car started up fine and drove the car home, out my way out the door and now my baby is stalling and know it wont start. Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is and what to do.PLEASE HELP

Sounds like you will need to blow out the spark plug holes with an air compressor.

I can navigate through older engines but can you point me in the right direction with the GS?

Take off the timing belt cover, intake manifold and the rear plug cover. The spark plugs run directly down the center of the engine.

I know I know it was a rookie move! I'm at ease knowing thogh that I'll be o.k once i've dried the spark plugs! Now on I wont touch a thing without searching in the forum first. Thanks Kaiser

Good point, however there is an O ring that should keep it water tight, it could have leaked though.

its a good thing that I didnt have to take off the manifold! Water only seeped into the first three (inch of water). I stuffed a rag in there so that it could suck up the water...I know an air comp. would have been easier but I couldnt even get the car started. Anyway all but alittle water is left and i'll let the rest dry on its own.

Yeah, this is a pain in the ****. My throttle body was leaking coolant and every now and again the plugs would start shorting out. Luckily I live in Texas so I have no need for the coolant line that goes to the throttle body, so I bypassed it. Does anyone know if new plugwires have a better seal?
