Lost My Ride
Hey Fella's I recently changed my tires, left upper control arm and left hub bearing along with wheel alignment and balance done with the top of the line HUNTER BALANCER about 2 1/2 months ago on my 93 GS300.
I must say it improved my ride tremendously from its unsure, mushy, veering ride. I mean the car drove like when i first purchased it 13 yrs ago, but now it seems like it's getting back to the way it handled 3 months ago. The ride i get is mushy and the bumps are getting hard again, also it's grabbing all the dips in the road again that makes me grab the wheel tighter than preferred.
I can't get my chill mack mode on with this, mess man.
I did hit a fem bumps in the road, but not hard enough i would think to cause an alignment issue.
Please help the mack get his mack back and you guys with the 1st gen know what i'm talking about!!!
My wheel measurements are 235/40 18''.

I replace them with KYB about 4 years ago, i started to get them replaced, but when the car started driving great i thought the issue was resolved, plus when i bouce on the the car it does feel firm without bouncing.

KYB struts are decent OEM replacement struts you can get at any autozone. Let's face it they aren't TEIN, but you didn't pay $1200 for them either. I'm riding on them myself so I'm not knocking them. If you have any kind of lowering springs and it's been 4 years, my guess is they are shot. I anticipated this when I bought all 4 struts for $200.

Yeah i think u guys are probably right about the struts, i should have got them done also, but what i can't figure out is why they road so well
when i had the work done. Could it be the struts had to resettle and how come it last for 2 months. Man i think i'm just gonna have my car lifted
in the garage if thats the case, lol.
the car also has its original springs could this also be a factor.
But thanks guys for ur input as i knew i would get some great advise.
