Default well, here's a sneak peak

I didn't like the body kit for front and rear so for now I restored the Aristo front and USDM rear.

Now I'm on a quest to have one custom fabricated.

better pics when I can get back home. I'm stuck in Faro, ND for a while.

Default TX2K7 and Wheels

Waiting for two parts to arrive on 3/7. The car still needs to get back to SP to turn up the HP and fix a punch down list. My schedule is really tight and I'm traveling. I'm trying to work things out so I can bring the car down.

I haven't size drag wheels for this car so if I make down I'll have to use 26x10x15 wheel as this is the only one I can track down right now. I'm going down to TX2K7 totally cold so I'm a bit disappointed of this. The build and body work took a very, very long time but it was all worth the wait.

Wheels

As for the wheels, they are WORK wheels I've only seen one other in a picture that was mounted on a JDM LS400 DEMO car. I believe the ones I have are from the LS400. I got them from an importer from cali who specialized in JDM wheels only. If I can find his name and contact I'll PM you. One thing about these wheels they are solid and heavy for a 1 piece wheel.

The Mahdi 19's are 2 piece and are super light. my fenders on all 4 corners are stretched and rolled, the 18's fit perfect and the 19's no longer stick out and tucks under the wheel wells.

Thanks for the info on the wheels. Sounds like they'd be pretty expensive to purchase (if even possible at this point). I was talking with Kaiser about his wheels as well, and after seeing your reply I'm convinced that I have a knack for picking out the "champagne" things that somehow always seem to go beyond by "beer" budget!

Good luck finishing things up. Can't wait to see it.

I swapped the OE radio, ac/control and vent that had the wood grain with my daily driver.

This looks better all black.

Default daily driver with WORK wheels

this is my daily driver, I like the JDM look. Give's it a VIP look.

I'm going to put the kit I didn't use on my racer on my daily driver.

I used to be into BMW and Porsche then.. the JZS147 came along and since then I remain a Lexus loyalist.

It took me nearly 12 years for this project to become a reality. I always new the potential of the 2JZGTE it was just not easily available nor economical in the early the early 90's. come to think of it, today cost of a properly built
2JZGTE with big hp is not economical either in the 21st century.

Lexus is finally bring bigger horse power cars to the us. I believe there's an IS500 in the works. This should be interesting to see what tuners will do with this monster.

Just wish the parts were cheaper!
