Default Does anyone else have this problem?

We just got a 1st gen GS300 for our daughter and it's pretty good condition, (with the exception of the paintjob which will eventually need to be redone), but the a bigger problem is the front passengers side window control. The window, when used on the drivers side, will quickly bring the front passengers window down quickly, but when we use the passengers button for the same window, it creeeeps down. I think the switch on that side may be bad. Is there a way to clean it? I pulled the switch until out of the armrest and unplugged the connector out the bottom but it doesn't look dirty so I'm thinking it's probably internal to the switch.

Which brings me to my second question...

Does anyone have a complete front passenger side unit for a 94 GS300 (wood, switch and all), that they can sell me? The wood is cracked in half. Yes *literally* in half, like some yahoo stood on it and broke it so even if the switch gets fixed, I still need to replace the wood piece it sits in anyway. And, as I've found out, 1st gen parts, even on e-bay, aren't always easy to find.

Carson Toyota is one of the sponsers of this forum. I asked about replacing that switch because they do break. I think it was like $60 or something with the Club Lexus discount. I haven't replaced mine yet as the funds went elsewhere.

I don't have that problem but it sounds like a bad switch on the passenger side, and really the easiest way to tell would be to replace it since you need to anyway.

I haven't seen that assembly on ebay either (i was looking for the door lock switch) but there's a shop/salvage place that sells lexus and mercedes parts, Sports and Imports, they're here in GA 770-416-7575. The guy i spoke with was Chris and he was pretty cool.
