How many ladies on the forum R rolling with 1st gens?
I've been surprising a lot of people; they don't seem to think that this is a "chicks" type of ride...Too much muscle; I guess a Toyota Tercel would be OK...LMAO! NEVER!
1st gen is the way to roll!
1994 Emerald green GS300 172+K...and still rolling...

Your handle "SlowGS300" is pretty dang accurate of the car's performance. LOL I was a long time CL reader myself. You'll find this forum is fun and informative. It's amazing what many have or are in the process of doing with their JZS147.
Glad to see another GS owners out there. I'm curious to know how many still exists today as it seems the 1st Gen's are becoming rare. Just wish it had the same notoriety as the Toyota Supra MKIV.
Have fun!

Well i see people calling the car slow, however i guess that depends on what you are calling slow?? i think mine has decent acceleration (obviously not a rocket) but its not TOO bad, and it runs VERY well in the high speed highway cruising dept. It is what it is, a 4 door sedan.

Mine's a bit of a slug off the line, but on the move, the power is fine. It's not neck snapping in any scenario, but I bought the car 5 years ago because I wanted a decent-sized, 4 door sedan, quiet, reliable, RWD, and not a 4 banger. The car delivers in all of those areas. I didn't think I would keep it this long and, at present, I have some mod plans, but no plans to get rid of the car. I really like it.

You're all correct, it ndoesn't snap you neck back and the GS handles and performs well betwee 80 and 100mph. Last Sunday, I got my daily driver around 135 mph (on I-29 south of Fargo, ND early morning... no cars either direction for 7-10 miles!!! ) and I believe I could have squeezed another 5mph out of her and it rides and performs well at high speeds. I would have tried it but I didn't feel comfortable going high speeds with my Michellin Pilots VR's. I would have gone for it if I had my better wheel sets.

The fastest my 94 gs3 has been is an indicated 115mph with 265-35-18's
Dont know what the correction factor is but either way it took like a full flat mile of road to get it that fast.
