Default Veilside kit on JZS147 Aristo/GS300

Hey Guys,

anyone got a Veilside KI kit on their 1st gen?

http://veilside.com/veilsideusa/aero/toyo/gsfront.jpg

http://veilside.com/veilsideusa/aero/toyo/gsrear.jpg

If so, got pics? I really like this kit, it compliments the lines of the Aristo beautifully.

Also, many of the Jap kits like Insurance, Garson, Diana and so on, their front bumpers are really square, but have small openings - not much point having a big three layer intercooler if only half of it is getting fed air. The Veilside seems to have a bigger opening. If anyone has one, can they measure up the main opening for me?

Thanks for the help!

Cheers

Aaron

ah no way!!

Hmmm.. the rims aren't to my taste and I think the front needs another inch dropped out of it, but otherwise- that kit is pretty hot. But I dunno.. it's almost too subtle!

Man I'm fussy.

nice car you have on the way. Rare to see leather interior. Rims look good with a nice lip, just needs lowered a bit.

now here's someone I didn't expect to see on cl! How are you mate? Moving away from the sliders or will this be towing them?

Nice score - Personal Import, so no need for RAWS?

My compliance guys are in Melb and were gold. Dunno if I could have gotten away with a big snail though

Are you changing the kit on it? If so give me a yell, I've got quite a few different ones on the way

Yeah man I stumbled across this site and I was like "WTF THIS KENT WITH THE ARISTO ALREADY". I've been waiting on mine for 4 months now being personal import and wasn't able to be brought in until now. Yeah and as you said no need for RAWS so thats how I can get the rx-6 and other gear through.

I'm not sure about changing the kit but aparantly the kit was slightly marked during transit (GRRRRR @ SHIPPING CO) but I will see how bad it is when it gets to Melbourne. Do you have any other Aristo gear thats on it's way over?

Oh and yeah I sold the 180 and this is going to be my primary vehicle so yeah I was after something ballsy, luxurious and auto although i'm taking a massive risk on the car cause I have never ever sat in an Aristo let alone driven one!

Oh and thanks for the compliments guys!

It's a HUGE step away from the 180 man, it's really a huge car - way bigger than I expected. Feel free to drop down to the factory, I'll take you for a spin

I've got some plans for mine, but am going for a medium single instead of big for now - still want some punch down low and don't wanna rebuild the auto yet.

Factory is in Ringwood, you know my website yeah? Address and phone # are on their

and sucks about the damage to the kit, who did you ship with? I've used kiwi and mitsui with no probs, but I've seen damage to other guys cars with both so it can be luck of the draw.

re Aristo bits - I've got quite a lot coming in over the next few months. Intercoolers, exhausts, interior stuff - you name it

Yeah i'm gonna see how I go with the big single and if I don't like the drivability of it then I will sell it and get something smaller I reckon.

Where about's in Ringwood? I didn't know you had a factory so if you can send me the details i'll drop by one lunchtime for a spin!
