Does it do this consistanly or only when the car is cold?

Take a look at your accesory belt tensioner and the pulley. Thats what did it for me

i would put money on it that its the crank pully being separated at the rubber in the middle .... best way to diagnose this would be turn the wheel and give the motor a quick rev at the same time with the a/c on and if it squeals most likely its that

Yeah check crank pully for cracks in the rubber on the sides might be coming apart

2nd on the crank pulley, if you put load on the system (turn on the ac), you might see the pulley wobble. change it anyway, just due to the age. Ebay as some solid pulleys. I did a refub on my car.

I had the same thing happen to me twice. It's the crank pulley.

Get yourself a new one, or an ATI one, or a fluiddampner.

Shoot me a PM and I'll get you one at a discount.

PMs sent about crank pulleys, stock VS ATI. I recommend the ATI. and It's not that bad to swap out. READ THE DIRECTIONS WITH THE ATI 8-). It's nearly a pres-fit, but it makes the engine much smoother than stock.
