Default making the car quiet

my car has a little bit of some engine noise like a motor vib and i wanted to know how to make it very quiet any solutions?

I have this same problem; I've been told that I may need a tune up!

At a cost of about $500+ before labor...look into it though, there's gotta be another way!

It's really easy to tune up a 2JZ-GE, are you kidding me? I could do it in an hour with all OEM parts for less than $200 - spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, etc.

I hear you. These are NYC prices I suppose...if u lived here you'd make a killing!

would be be around the catalytic converter area? becaue thats where it seems liek some of my sound is coming from?

Yeah I had the same problem. I had a leak between the catalytic converter and the pipes going out the back. It's just a bushing that needs to be replaced.
