Looking for a way to raise the car a little
I'm running on RSR springs with 18" wheels.
I want to raise the car UP by 1".
Anyone know of a way - other than changing to coilover? Maybe inserting rubber mount insert from PepBoys?
Thanks.

Thanks for your input
I am trying to increase the space between the top of the tire and the fender.
Also, I am trying to minimize the uneven tire wear.
Any suggestions?
Sorry about the terrible picture

umm.. sell the RSR's and put the factory springs back on
Coilovers wil not raise your car. Only lower. Most coilovers even boltng them on at the highest perch setting will still be lower than factory.

also, at only 1" drop, there is very negligible amounts of negative camber. Your problem lies in the bushings and ball joints if you are having tire wear. Most likely at 318k miles, the bushings in the front and rear suspension mounting points are mush and cant maintain the alignment. Mine are at 250k admittedly I'm ALOT harder on my car than any other Lexus driver for sure, but I also pay more attention to the fine details like this. That is why I'm working on importing full urethane bushing kits for the 1st gen from Japan.
Check your bushings the next time you take it to have it aligned.. should solve your problem. The stock adjusters are very capable of dialing back to stock alignment specs at only a 1" drop. Is the main wear in the front or rear? Can you get a picture of the tire?

Thanks Epik...
Either way, I will take your advice and check the bushings.
Thanks again Epik.
Anyone interested in used RSR springs?

lower A arm bushings
Are these available for the front lower A arms? Mine are wearing out, but my mechanic indicates that the urethane bushings available in the U.S. for them are not reliable and that I should go with OEM. He then adds that the OEM bushings are not available without buying the entire assembly. So we are talking big bucks.

Has anyone done something similar?
