Default 2jz-gte swap

do the 2jz-gte's swap right in these cars? what's required to get them to fit? are the oil pans front sump or rear sump'd?

it should be because the car originally has a 2jz-ge right?

motor drops right in place... but if ur keeping the stock turbo's you need clearance for the rear turbo. and if ur doing the 2jz-gte (aristo) its rear sump, and the 2jz-gte supra usdm is front
for the aristo you need to lengthin the engine harnes well more like just the ECU...

To many thread's on doing this swap we should create a sticky on this.

A vvti is not a plug in. You are asking for a wiring fiasco. Stay with OBD I you will be just as happy with the performance and the shorter period of time it will take to get back on the road.

I've seen motorsets for $1800. I paid $2500 shipped to my door for a whole half cut.
