Default Does Anyone Know....

where there might be a good ground in the trunk??? i still cant figure out whats wrong with my amp its not turning on and it has to be a bad ground...

Mines grounded to a bolt to the left of the gas tank against the back seat. I may snap a picture later.

put ur batt. in the trunk so u have room for engine upgrades. and then u dont have to worry about grounding

haha thats all nice and dandy but id have to reroute the whole batch of wires that connects to the positive too then....and that doesnt look like it would be fun....

would be a great ground tho! and besides its not that hard at all all u need is 8 ft of 0gauge wire and ur done

Go look at my post, you will see my battery in the trunk. All I have there is the (+) and (-) extended from the front to the back. The two additionally wires with fuses is for my dual fuel pumps.

Get quality cables! I'm using high grade audio cables, they are very thick and mulitstrand (= flexiblity) Mine route through the inside to the rear, you can go under your car but i suggest you get some kind of protective sleves for the entire length and then try and tuck it inside the same channels as your fuel lines. it doesn't seem safe but I've seen many setup this way.
I'd take the internal route just protect it from nics and pinches etc..

Tony, has the right idea too.

ok so i still cant find a ground...does anyone think the paint would be an issue??

Yes the paint will be an issue. Sand to metal. It can't hurt your sound quality.

ok im gonna sand some paint off in the trunk and try again and see what happens if i get nothing then, i just dont know what else it could be

ok i got nothing i think its the type of fuse i have running to it I've never seen that kinda fuse i guess its called an anl fuse
