Default value of a flood title 97 gs300

Im looking at getting this 97 gs 300 automatic and 70k and the only thing is this thing has a flood title although eerything works fine except for the power seat. now ive looked it up on NADA and kelly but none of them account for the flood title. So i was curious as to what you guys would pay for a gs300 like that.

If the car has flood/salvage title automatically take 50% of the actuall value of car. So if the car with clean title is worth $8000 automatically in same shape with flood title it is worth $4000.

I've had experience with a few flood cars. I would have to see the car to say for sure, but imo its not worth much more than 2.5-3k$
There is almost always damage that will show up after you purchase. If you plan to modify the car then do it. You can save the extra money on the purchase to modify the car, and likely will have the money to replace the broken or flood damaged parts with nice aftermarket parts
BIG EDIT : Watch out for electrical gremlins though

wow. 97 gs300s are rare. only 175 were produced.
46,000 base price! Didn't even have leather standard.
Can you imagine a 46k car with cloth seats??

the only rarer lexus model is a 97 sc300 manual tranny. only 120 produced!!

Hahaha, thats freakin awesome.
As far as staying on topic..I wouldnt pay more than 3K for a flood title. MAYBE 3.5K if its in REALLY REALLY good condition.
