Default braking issue

When I sit at idle and put my foot on the brake it feels like there is a motor or something that is running for like 3 seconds. It feels like a vibration through the pedal. Also, I've noticed that when I brake hard that the emergency brake like that looks like (!) on the dash comes on. I can't recall it doing this before.

I have a 93 Aristo btw.

yep

I usually hear mine at start up, go through a self check. If the ! light is coming on, there's some kind of issue generally. My money is on low brake fluid, as you brake, the fluid sloshes back and forth and the sensor detects low fluid, then when it stops, the sensor is covered again

The moral is - check your brake fluid

The other option is that the braking is triggering your e-brake sensor - my light sometimes sticks on after the e-brake has been released
