Default radio issue

the radio in my 94gs300 trips out on me. it will work fine for awhile, maybe a couple hours at a time, then randomly i will start hearing lots of static and chirps, and shortly after the sound starts cutting out and coming back. it does this when the radio plays, or when i play cd's. the display will show that the disc is playing correctly, but the sound skips out and comes back...if i let it sit for a while, or when i wake up the next day it will start fine, but eventually repeat the process..any ideas?

No, not necessarily. Could be a speaker wire shorting to ground, or one of your speakers is shorting.

I had this happen to me once on my previous car. I turned out to be one of my speakers shorting out. Mine was easy to find, all I did was connect eache speaker 1 at a time and she which one would short out.
