Default Amplifier

Where is the Amp for the stereo on our cars? I have a real hard time turning up the volume. Let me rephrase, when I turn up the volume, I have to turn it up alot to hear it sort of loud. I think that my amp might be out, I didnt know our cars came with one. If it does where is it? does anyone have any specs on it, IE: watts, ohms, ect?

Thanks

Once you remove the trunk panel everything is right there and pretty self explanatory. Also , if your stereo is still turning on and its simply not playing loud it could be your speakers are blown or will soon go..Check all your speakers.
