That's true. A friend of mine who has a first gen wanted to see if the second gen seats would work on his car - said he could fabricate something to make them fit but he also mentioned it'd take quite a bit of work and that he wasn't really willing to do it at the moment.
Oh well, anyhow, I've got a complete set of second gen seats in great condition that I haven't been able to get rid of. If I can't flip them within the next month or so I'm going to see if I can pay my friend to custom fabricate something so I can install them in my car. If I choose to go that route, I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes

I was just watching a set of IS3 seats go on fleebay that I wish I would have bid on. Nice clean black on black with microfiber. But it was front and rear. I only wanted front, then would have had the rear custom made to match.
