hey everyone i just picked up a set of aristo headlights, can someone please tell me what the correct Bulb that fit into these headlight.. becuz i am using th US housing for them i dont have the aristo housing, it didnt come with it =/

help help? anyone? im swapping USDM headlight to the Aristo headlights but the bulbs dont seem to stay in place?

standard aristo bulbs are 9006. at least mine were.

im guessing you're trying to put in HB3 9005 - which are almost the same as HB4 9006 but slightly smaller

Aristo bulbs are 9005 for high and low and 194 for the running lights. I modded my bulb socket to fit into the 9006 housing.

I just swapped out my UDSM lights for JDM and they do indeed take 9005's for the low and high beams, where the USDM lights took 9006 for the low beams. I was able to get the 9005 low beam bulb to plug into the stock wiring socket, but it didn't fully "click" in securely. I'm going to work on that next. Not sure if that's the issue you were describing or not.

ok thats wierd because my 1995 aristo DEFINITELY had 9006 bulbs. i had to get it modified to fit 9005...

You can nip the extra bits off the 9005 bulbs to make them fit 9006 applications. Its a ten second job with a pair of snips and a stanley knife. There is two lugs inside the male plug of the bulb and only one locating hole in the female part of the car side so those two lugs need to be cut out wih a hot knife or a sharp stanley. The locating lugs on the 9006 are smaller than the 9005 so the 9005 bulbs lugs need nipping down a bit with a pair of snips. easy peasy lemon squeezy.
