Well, I know my air filter is very black so thats the first thing to change. Other then that I'm asking my self why the hell my milage is so BAD!
I though my sticking caliper was the cause of my poor milage but it didn't seem to help my milage much at all.
On my list of thnigs to change is the Air filter and Sparkplugs.
Now my MPG...
A mind boggling 14MPG avrage and that's being genrous! What up?? the fuel prices are killing me with the 80L tank needing filling every 4-5 days!
Ideas???
I am going to ad a performance exhaust so that may help a little but I can't imagin much.
I check over my calipers, none of them are sticking anymore, all new discs/pads all around.
No spark blow out, pulls good.
I can't think of why it's so bad... I have the car completely empty so i'm not carrying any dead weight.. I don't have heavy *** 18's or 19's on... Just normal old 16's
Ideas guys? 95-100$ fill ups for a sadan for only 450 KM is killing me! Even my supra aint that bad when I'm not on the gas!

17 MPG here as well, and I believe my O2s are the reason as well... Going to try changing those out this weekend. Did you use aftermarket O2s or go back to a dealer (190 per is ridiculous)....

I have a walbro pump. I just filled up this morning with 16 gallons for 312miles so 19.5 mpg. I posted a WTB on the supra forums to get another O2. A lot of those guys are getting the Aristo motors and swapping harnesses to Supra. The Aristo O2 is unique to that platform as it only has 3 wires, the Supra has 4. I got a low mileage O2 for $65 shipped. I could find a new one only from an Austrialian dealer who had to order it from Japan. $240us.

Some other factors are it's 105+ degrees here or above 40 for those using metric. Most ECU's will dump additional fuel to keep the motor cooler, not to mention that I run the A/C contantly and still get 19+ mpg. I'm wondering if the Aristo doesn't have a factory flaw with the heater element in the O2. As you guys probably know the O2 needs to be 900+ degrees or again metric, 480 celsius to function properly. If it isn't maintaining heat, your mileage will suffer. The three wire O2 is exclusive to the Aristo v so perhaps?

Hang on guys, i'm 100% stock with 75000KM on her, THATS ALL.
I'll try the O2 sensor it's a good test, I think the 1jz and 7m sensor are the same, so I'll try that first.
Otherwise any other reason?

you still running the cats? pre cat and main cat. if the o2 has been going down hill for a while it could be plugging up the cats with unspent fuel from running too rich.
i averaged nearly 24mpg on my trip to formula d in WV. i was pretty happy with that. hard to get mileage around town, i dont ever fill the car all the way up unless it is a road trip.

I live out of town (mostly highway) and with a heavier right foot, I've had a few 450km tanks. My o2 sensor is good as verified by my wideband.
I managed one 550km tank driving very easy before exhaust. I'm coming close to another 550km tank driving a little less easy after the exhaust. Most of the factory turbo cars that I've owned have picked up some mpg from doing exhaust. I don't know how long it would take to pay for itself if you're not doing the work yourself though.
In town, I wouldn't think that you would get a lot more than 450kms on a tank regardless.

Yeah, but it would pay for itself rather quickly if your getting the same mileage as myself and 4doorvip up there. 300km's to a full tank. That adds up pretty fast, plus it's not hard to change, the problem is just tracking one down.
