Default New times and dyno in my aristo ;)

Hey guys,

Went to the track 2 weeks ago and posted a 14.1@ 100 MPH at 12-13 PSI.

Did back to back 14.1's and then track closed as I just got there before closing.

Also dynoed 279 @ the wheels that night.

Mods are intake and profec e01 stock everything else including exhaust.

I then had a full 3" added which splits into 2x 2.5" which currently have the stock mufflers on it and went to another track this weekend (montreal supra meet)

Ran 14.2 @ 103MPH on a hot muggy day. The track prep was non exsistant and really really sucked out of the hole.

Numbers look good, 279rwhp and 14.1 is on stock boost? not sure what the stock boost is.

279 was at 12-13 psi. Stock boost is 10.

I could have hit a high 13 if I got a better then 2.2 60 foot. but iw as on stock 16" tires, and couldn't really break boost too hard out of the hole.

some 275's and io'm sure i'd do a 13.9.
103 is good for a mid 13 if i get a sub 2.0 60foot
I just installed the emanage and a 3" exhaust, so i should be able to get 15-18 psi on the cermaic turbos. As for USDM cams a little down the road but I probably will get crowers since i have good hook ups with them and get good prices form him and Brian crower.

Twins are a PIA to change if I am going to change i'll just single it, it's easier!

hopeing to get a low 13 with a 112 MPH trap when all setup and tuned out, also hoping to dyno 390-400.

get a converter, put a set of DRs on those stock 16s and hit the track on a cool day you should be in the very low 13s as you sit. I hit 12.9@104.5 in the camaro way back in the day when it was nearly stock, 1.78 60ft ono 17" nitto

Yeah i have a few things on the list

-oil cooler
-valve body (stop burning up them clutch packs)
-stock mk3 sawblades with 10.5" to use with my surpa and aristo.

Things that may hurt my 1/4 are coilvers and heavy 18's or 19" wheels.

Not looking for huge power as this is my DD my supra is the guy that takes the trashing.. I just want to hang with the AMG merc's and maybe suprise a few

2.2 isn't that bad for an 3800lb. automatic 4 door with only 3.0L and a 2000rpm stall and long gears.

What was your 60ft. on the 14.1 runs?

Do you have the dyno printout and the slips?

2.1 or 2.2 on the 14.1 again couldn't break boost more then like 5-6 psi or would rip the tires to shreds.

have the slips and the dyno I can post them if you really want but lazy about it

One on stock boost 3gear rolling in to it as it's atuo
one at 12-13 psi again rolling on to it.

looks like it scaled diffrently when i opened it form my winpep at home.. maybe the 5 smoothing. it was 279/300 at the dyno shop

hmm.. not bad #s thru the smic.

i have to take a look at my sheet with the twin k26s.. still havent boosted past 14psi.. in fact most of the time i'm running them just shy of boost cut and making about 380. Last dyno before the usdm intake cam swap was 354/343 at 13 psi on stock 440s..

i'm interested to see where my boost hits compared to the stock twins, i never used em. thanks for posting that sheet.

Thanks for posting.

I've done a couple of dynos in my time - a few comments you can look into if you really want.

It's been my experience that fuzzy logic controllers tend to have a less smooth power curve (hence the required 5 on the smoothing).

Have you put in some new plugs yet? If not - NGK 6097 - BKR7E
