Default Pillar pod fab w/pix

I should have take more pix but this will give you an idea what im up to. I got a few gauges. I only want the boost gauge out to the nekid eye. The others are going to be squireled away in the glove box.

The boost gauge I got is 60mm
I used a piece of PVC pipe with an ID to meed the OD of the gauge.

Then a drain grate that had a lip on it that would allow me to recess the gauge flush.

Next I stripped the pillar trim of its cloth covering. I cut mine in two pieces so I wouldnt have to take the seat belt on and off ever time I remove the pod.

Then I used superglue and accelerator with cardboard and plastic to set where I wanted the gauge.

I skipped a whole proceedure but I did have my cell camera so heres the raw fiberglassed grill cloth with rib cage before the duraglass went on.

Im going to end up covering it in cloth, once I figure out what color and type. Im thinking about microfiber. Dont know what color yet though. Im not feelin the tan anymore. I think the wifes GS430 with black interior has jaded me

Yea, the all black interior of my boy's 99 GS3 ruined me for life, and I have the charcoal interior in my GS's.

Nice job.
