anyone know how to fix it? I heard a loud metal sound come from the door the previous day. Today I rolled my window all the way down and now it will not roll up. I hear the power window motor working, but the window is not rolling up. Anyone ever fix this, tips would be great.

Sounds like the regulator; same thing happened to me. You will need to remove the door panel; replace the regulator. If anyone has a diagram, that would help the o.p. I don't have access to my manuals right now.
It's a pretty simple repair; pull out old unit, install new one. Granted, it's more complicated than that, but anyone can do it.
Good Luck !!

I worked on my window for about 45 min and got it fixed sort of. I know that IU need a new regulator ( the spool that holds the cable for the window). This was the first time that I took apart the interior of my car and man! They are made very well. My car is 12 yrs old and this is the first major thing that has broken on it.
