update: went into paint today, 489.33. for all the prep work and 2 base + inegrated clear, going for a med blue color, 6 year warranty. under 500 is good for a decent paint job. should have pics saturday

*update*
got the car back from paint, earl sheib paint paid 486.33 but it turned out ok. orange peel, some runs and drips and contaminations but its decent. going to get it detailed ( cut buffed polished etc, when the paint cures). next is interior.

Looking good. You should shaved all emblems when you have the chance. It would look so nice, especially on the 1st Gen GS.

do the emblems have holes? or are just glued on? i told them to leave off the emblems if they could but i guess they glued em back on

They do have holes and I notice that you do your own body works so I thought you should shaved them while you're at it, but I guess it's too late now.
This is how it look like shaved on my 93 GS300 I sold early this year. Tell me what you think of shaved emblems on our 1st Gen GS.

damn that does look nice, but i guess its too late..i guess i'll just paint em gunmetal or black with duplicolor

Good color choice..

edit*.. did he paint the door jambs in that $500 too?

i told him not too, he was going to charge 100 per jam, so i was like eff it the color difference isnt really that big

Picked up some rear seats today for 16 bucks...thats right 16..with only 1/2 rip. my interior may be beige and the new seats may be gray..but for 16 bucks =)
