i have the check engine light on trac light abs light and even the windshield wiper fluid on..... brakes squeak bad and headlights dim when i apply pressure to brake can someone please help me???? car only has 97,300 original i checked carfax b4 buying

It's really hard to say. For starters, I'd recommend doing a diagnostic on it to see what kind of codes it is throwing. Despite the check engine lights and all, how is the car running?

it runs pretty good... sounds horrible after cold start but once the temp needle sits mid way the car is real quiet... is that normal???? i did a diagnostic it read i need an oe2 oxygen sensor is that expensive????

check under the carpet in the trunk and inside the car. It sounds like you may have bought a car that was in a flood. Just because you check carfax that doesn't mean anything.

O2 sensor is about $65-70 dollars and can be replaced in about 15 minutes..

I would start with this and reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes..Let us know how shes running after..

I also wanted to ask when was the last time this car had a tune up??the timing belt should be changed at 90k also..Check the spark plug wires if the previous owner used factory parts the year will be printed on the wires..This will give you an idea of what kind of maintanence the car had..

Did the previous owner remove the CD changer from the trunk? Even the base models had a 12 disc changer in the trunk originally. Mine is about as base as they came and it has a changer in the trunk.

I don't think you bought a lemon, but it sounds like it's a deferred maintenance car. Needs brakes and an O2 sensor at a minimum. The rough idle while cold is not normal for a car in good working condition.

It sounds like your grounding system is lousy and the power could be back feeding through your gauges trying to find any ground it can. This is a long shot, but get some jumper cables and attach them to the negative terminal and the two hoist hooks on the motor.

Oh, add water or wiper fluid to the windshield wiper reservior and that should take care of one of your lights.

i broke every speed limit in N.Y.C so far.. i eat hondas 4 breakfast so yea my brakes squeal going 5mph(gonna get those changed soon), but last night i was dissapointed when i got smoked by a cl 500 last night when i approached 80 then 100 mph my 93 GS began to loose traction... my trac light and abs lihts are on but still is this normal???? how much will it cost me to turn those lights off????

Are you turbo or something? I mean, what car with more than 180 horsepower doesnt eat hondas for breakfast? If your lights are on, go to lexus and have them check the diagnostic codes.
