Default Grille fading- what should i do


what should i do about this fading grill. I know im going respray the center black, but what about the gold trim? should i repaint it gold or go black or ???

and opinions?

Let's color keyed the whole grill. If not, you can paint the center black and color keyed the gold trim surrounding.

i have the same problem the gold trim starting to look silver also my lexus plate holder

Pull it off and paint the entire thing flat or semi-gloss black (do a few coats).

Get some plast-x and hit up your headlights as well, front will look like new.

I'd go with painting the grille. Personally, I'm going to change mine, it's a tad bit crooked and I wanna at least start making it look different.

well i painted the grille black a few days ago, looks 10X better but the gold trim...im a little wary about painting it black, can anyone Photoshop it?

yeah i seen his car it looks badass, but black grille on a blue car. i had a friend to a PS of it and it kinda sucked haha maybe i'll try it anyway, and if its ugly i'll go back to gold with duplicolor gold

My trim is chrome but I painted the inside of mine and the badge Satin black.
I took it apart though, dont do a hack job and just hose it down on the car.
Black with blue would look dope.

that looks pretty good. but im not a big fan of the gold. but the flat black on blue works!
