Default KSPORT Coilovers

Anyone have any experience with KSPORT coilovers? Anyone know where they are made? Looking at their website (http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/index.asp), they seem to be a legit manufacturer doing a lot of sponsoring and participation in various motorsport events. I also wonder if the model they make for the 1stgen GS300 has the Pillow Ball Top Mount w/ adjustable camber? 36-way adjustable dampening ain't bad!

They are currently being offered on Ebay for $875 shipped!

ive been reading about the ksports vs. the megan racing coilovers. but most everyone that has either ksport or megan has a 240sx and i think they felt the megan were a bit better. and you should be able to get the megan off ebay for around the same price. Still the ksports are one of my opions.

i ordered a set of Ksports. $780 shipped with the make offer ebay deal. the only issue i READ about them was, that no matter what setting you choose to set on them, the stiffness is "more" noticable. meaning not as good as the stock ride.

But alot of subie guys like them, as well as the honda community.

MRD13- Did you buy for a 1st gen GS300? Let us know how the ride quality is. Having 36 adjustments for dampening, I'm sure there is at least one with a decent ride. Do you know where they are made by any chance? Thanks in advance.

yeah they are for the 1st gen. and as soon as I figure out my rim setup ill let everyone know. some questions for other people tho.

1. Why the hell lexus choose to put small *** 16' rims on a big *** car?. haha

2. 17s or 18s?

I figure if i have 17s I can slam it and still be able to drive it the way I want.

But if i'd roll 18s i might have rubbing issues, but it would fill up the wheel well for the better look.....

ex-240 owner so i kinda miss the handling....

Same questions I'm asking... But I guess mine would be more 18s or 19s? Handling is only secondary concern since I drive like a "grandpa" but do like to roll like a "stylin" grandpa.

They look pretty legit. No need for 36 dampening settings IMO
I have 32 on the Tein flex and I only use 3 of them with the EDFC.

Also the upper pillow mount on our cars cannot adjust camber due to an upper fixed a-arm suspension mount.

PM sent.

haha styling grandpa.

i just dont feel like paying for the price of a 18' set of tire vs. 17s, when u can go beefy on the rubber. plus its all gonna burn anyways once I put in the GTE. woot.

I'm not going to bad mouth any brands but I will say this. You get what you pay for. I know guys who ran k-sports and megans. Between the 2 if i had to choose I would pic megan. I dont know a single person who ran k-sports and lasted over a year.

My suggestion is save a little longer and get something a little higher quality. You'll thank yourself in the long run
