Default Just purchased a 1993 GS300!!

Hello everywhere. I have recently purchased my First Lexus one week ago. Since purchasing this wonderful car I have changed the oil, cleaned the interior, cleaned the headlights as well as made clear corners, and just purchased all new brake pads, and rotors. This car was maintained my an individual that didn't care to much about the car but with my help I can showcase the hidden beauty that the previous owner kept hidden. The only issues that I have with the car since purchasing is the usual. The drivers window trim has dissappered, the wood trim has vanished as well, the interior still needs some extensive cleaning, and I believe the motor has a loose lifter. Besides these minor problems she is in perfect condition. Here are a few pictures I have taken in the last week!!!!

Default Updates!!

I did sit my headlights in the oven at about 300F. After that I cleaned them throughly. I would like to add a chrome grill, nice stock lexus wheels (chrome), 20% tints, and a nice grill badge. If anyone could photoshop my vision I would deeply appreciate it!!

oven? I'm just going to take mine off and poke out the orange bit with a screwdriver. That's if I remember to do it this weekend.

But congrats on getting one of the best cars ever!
so, police won't hassle too much with 20% tints? I know 35% is legal in FL but if you get away with that I envy you lol

Nice car man! Love the color
How do you remove that orange thing from the headlights though? Is that even legal?

Wink foggy headlights..

Just wondering if your lights fog up inside since you took them apart, such as mine everytime I wash my car or when it rains. What did you seal it with? Thanks...

my headlights used to fog up real bad after a car wash or when it rained... so i removed the clear cap on the top of the lights for a day or 2 and they were clear again

either bake your headlights to soften the sealant and take them out, or take a screwdriver and break the orange piece and remove the shards with pliers. The bulb inside is orange, so yes, it's legal. I just wouldn't go around boasting this fact to cops lol
