Default 95 GS 300 Lowered with Ohlins

Finally got the chance to lowered my 95 GS today. As most of you remember, I got the Ohlins Coilovers while back on Ebay. Well, I finally got it lowered today. It look 10,000 times better than the high water stock. I also got my 93 Supra TT lowered today, with the HKS Hypermax III Coilovers (probably the first set in the US since it's not release here in the US yet). This is probably the happiest day of my life with two cars lowered at the same time. I didn't get the chance to take pictures of the Supra lowered yet because it was dark when the shop finish with it. Sorry for the stock ugly looking Touring Edition wheels. Hope I can get some hook up with the 3rd Gen GS 430 18" 5 spokes wheels soon.

Nice drop man, I'm sure the 18" 430 5 spokes would look good on it.

For some reason, it looks high to me. I think it's just the size of the rims which gives it that effect? Your supra in your sig definitely looks lowered.

I guess the pictures is not accurate because in real life, the GS look pretty low. As for the Supra, the sig is before the drop, but somehow look lowered. You are probably right about the size of the wheels make it look higher. Believe me, I hate the ghetto stock Touring Edition wheels, but have no choice at the moment. Give me time, I'll find something nicer for my baby.

hey there. im new to CL and ive got like the identical car to yours. aristo rear light with the lexus badges still . . lol same color and all stock. just not lowered yet. i got a question, u guys done like the touring edition wheels . . . they are enkeis you know, i dont think they look too bad for stock wheels, . . but the ones i have are not polished like yours. not sure if you did that yourself or they happend to polish a few at the dealership before selling them .

oh one thing i found out 2day (which might be old news 2 u guys) is that there is another factory color that looks like this white/silver combo but its a little different. the white is just a little more darker and the silver on the bottom is a little more browner. you guys know anything about this . .

i know its off the subject but i just wanted 2 say out load what i found out 2day. but your car looks bad ***. i really want to lower mines too, i just dont know what suspension to go with . . how much was yours . . and how does it ride . . are they springs, or coilovers . . sorry if im annoying. just trying to catch up with the toyota game . .

WuTangUsa, the color you're talking about is Opal White Pearl (046). I used to have it on my 93 GS, but in 95, Lexus offered two shade of pearl white. The regular GS came with Opal White Pearl and the Touring Edition came with Diamond White Pearl. 96 and 97 GS only came with Diamond White Pearl.

As for my GS, I have Ohlins Coilovers. I got mine used on Ebay, so I guess the ride isn't that great. I don't know much about the other coilovers out there, but I still like the Ohlins over the Intrax spring I used to have on my 93 GS. As for my Supra, I lowered the same day with the GS, I have the HKS Hypermax III coilovers. Man, that coilover is awsome. The ride is like stock, but the cornering ten time better than stock.
