Default Foggy headlight on my first gen GS......

Just wanted your input on what I can do to stop this annoying mess. My d/s headlight fogs up inside whenever I wash my car or when it rains. I understand that there is probably a leak in the seal but whats the easiest way to solve this problem?

Time to replace the headlight. I had my driver and passenger side headlights changed which has eliminated the problem. Other possibility would be to open up the headlight and re-seal.

mmmmm...like Wald said plus another option being using clear silicone and resealing the whole thing or if you know where the leak is you could just seal up that general area. Of course all of these methods require the headlight itself to be removed.

Also, the evaporated water can turn the inside of your headlight blackish when it bakes in the summer.

I had the same problem. I just took the headlight off and was going to open it up and clean and reseal it, but when it was in the oven the water evaporated so then i just sealed it with silicone. Then i just wetsanded and polised the lenses. It looks alot better but i noticed water inside after i washed my car, but it dried up and never came back. So when i was my car i just put a towel there, but i think cool for now.
