Question Spark Plug Wires Help?

my buddy (an antique motorcycle collector) was looking at my engine the other day, and he noticed that my spark plug wires were very thin and small, he says bigger wires would benefit my performance all around, is this true? And if so what type of wires do I get and where do I get them?
Thanks

Bigger wires does not necessarily mean that it'll be better. The wires that came stock are some of the best wires there are out there. If you browse the supra forums, you'll come across many high horsepower supras running on the stock wires. They may be thin, but they pack a punch.

Like said it's not the size of the wire, it the amount of resistance. There are many high horsepower cars running those same wires. If the date on them is 2000 or older then yes you could use new wires.
