Default Increasing HP on a N/A 2jz-ge?

How much horsepower can i realistically get out of my stock engine without swapping or turbocharging it?

What type of mods would I need to do?

I dyno'd a few years ago with a cold air intake. However the guy did not put a fan in front of my car and I still made 183 hp. I figure with the fan, it would of been 185-188.

Building an NA costs alot of money vs. swapping or using a turbo kit.

Its worth it in some cases, but why mess with efficiency. Not enough gain for me i'd say/

Headers
Exhaust
ECU tune
Bigger Injectors/Fuel pump
AirFilter

stuff you can do without going crazy.

Come onnnnnnnn
it's a 2JZ! It's supposed to be force fed from a turbo or two, (three if you're nasty!)
I dunno why they didn't make it turbo in the first place. now THAT, is luxury

honestly you'll be lucky to see 220-230WHP.

To get that, i'd imagin you would need.

Cams
Intake
Full exhaust
Timing bumped super high
headers
GOOD plugs and wires

Is it worth it for that? Naw. The ebay NA-T swap for the supra costs about that and will give you that much HP with 3 PSI of boost.

NA inline 6's sound damn awesome with a full exhaust though... it'

By the time you add up all the stuff trying to squeeze more power out of the NA a few more dollars could get you a dave h kit or piece together a kit.
