Carbon Fiber instead of Wood?
How many of you guys would be interested in replacing your cracked woodgrain with some carbon fiber overlays? I found these on the IS forum and the quality looks amazing on them. I can try and contact the company and see if they would make us some pieces but I believe we would have to have at least 10 people interested. I'm definitely in for the right price.
Mainly I would be interested in the piece around the shifter, all door panel switches, and maybe the ashtray.
What do you guys think?

I dont think carbon fiber or stainless belong in our cars..Thats just me..Now if your talking blackwood or newer wood style like birdseye that will set your car off from the rest..I have a guy that redid all my wood and a few extra pieces and it looks better than original. If anyones has cracked switch plates, ashtrays or center console PM me for info..I had all mine redone and having new wood really makes a difference..

I tried that, honestly guys/ladies it doesn't look half as good as wood would. I bought a set from this ebay company that got great reviews, and now, I'm down $235 that could have gone to something a lot more useful that the peel off fake glossy look that they would sell you with the CF kits..... In conclusion, my opinion is, stay with wood. But that's just me.....

Damn, would love to see it but the pic doesn't work. I thought about taking all the wood out and just color matching it to the outside, which I may still do.
