The 7M uses a R154 that can be used if you source the 1JZ bell housing
The 1JZ also uses a R154 but come in two flavors. JDM supra and Soarer.
The 2JZ uses a W58 for the N/A vehicle and a V160 6 speed on the turbo.

Theres a guy here in Houston swapping his transmission, hes putting in an R154, granted he has an aristo swapped engine, not sure if that makes a difference. Im gonna try and keep in touch with him so I can take a ride it when its done.
In other words, yes, it can be done.

You need to do some mods to get it to work. If you have access to a welder then anything is possible.
