i just replaced the lower ball joints from my car. they didnt feel loose or the car didnt feel shaky. Every time i would move the steering wheel from side to side very slowly, i would hear a screaching sound. i replaced them and found the drivers side ball joint was very dry.

Did you ever think that it might be your brakes? I mean, it happens when you brake. It sounds simple, but it probably is. Why go through a complex solution to find out it doesn't work when a simple solution can(and most likely will work?)
Lets see.
Problems- squealing and steering wheel shakes when braking and @ 45, 60, 80mph and anywhere in between.
Fixes:
Replace pads- squealing goes away. during that, find out rotors are glazed over and lower ball joint is bad.
Replace lower ball joint- steering is a bit tighter, but shake is still there.
Cost:~ $55 for the part, $60 for labour
was going to replace upper ball joint, but rotors were cheaper to replace sooner.
Replace rotors- front end shaking is gone, car feels loads better.
Cost: $130 for rotors+shipping [THANKS WALD GS!] $60 for labour
Replace upper ball joint - still to come
