Default 1992 sc400 engine/tranny swap in a 1996 gs3oo

i currently have a 1992 automatic sc400 with 96k miles and i am purchasing a 1996 gs300 with 160k, can i swap my engine/tranny from my sc?

Why would you want to? The older SC400s arent much faster than the 96-97 GS300. Id say do a tune up on the GS300 and forget about the SC. Its probably still gonna be cheaper to do the tune up rather than a whole custom engine/tranny swap.

the reason for doing it is my sc400 has a lot lower miles,plus i am planning to do a 2jzgte swap in my sc400.

I sure it can be done, but I don't think knowone have done that swap yet. But your gonna be the first right!

Off course you can. JDM Aristo offered with the same V8 in AWD from factory. Like most have mentioned, it's not practical considering modifications involve and money wise also. If you do, let us know so we can see the final product. Oh yeah, once you finish with this project, I recommend change it to GS400
